The finals of the BN Bank Blitz took place in Oslo on 27th November 2010. Invited players: Jovanka Houska (England), Leif E. Johannessen (Norway), Kateryna Lahno (Ukraine), Simen Agdestein (Norway), Hikaru Nakamura (USA). Qualifiers: Bergen Abdulla M. Muhsen, Kristiansund Anders Olsen, FM Daniel J. Kovachev, Porsgrunn Anders Hobber, Stavanger IM Vadims Daskevics and Tromso Jon Kristian Royset were joined by Joshua Paul Schmidt who bid for the final place. 3 minutes +} 2 seconds per move per player. A 6 player double round robin stage of two groups produced semi-finalists. Hikaru Nakamura went to 13/13 beating Leif Erlend Johannessen 3-0. Simen Agdestein only just got past Kateryna Lahno 3-2. Nakamura was beaten twice by Agdestein in the final but still won 3-2, however not much remains of the last two games of the event, hopefully the organisers will be able to reconstruct this decisive stage. Lahno took bronze by drawing a final sudden death game after the initial match was drawn 2-2 against Johannessen, again the final stages are missing.
