The Cultural Village tournament acted as a qualifier for remaining places in the Wijk aan Zee C 2011 tournament. Dariusz Swiercz's victory over Enrico Blees took him to clear first place. Long time leader Sahaj Grover lost to Oleksandr Sulypa in the final round to lose both the place at Wijk aan Zee and his final GM norm. He was awarded a place in Wijk aan Zee's C-Group for 2012. The 2nd spot in the Wijk aan Zee group was for the top finishing Dutch player which rather neatly came down to the game between Twan Burg and Roeland Pruijssers. Pruijssers won and took the final place available.
