Malcolm Pein on Rounds 13-14

Vishy Anand took clear first at Linares as his rivals faltered in the fourteenth and final round. As Anand put the shutters up in the last two games with risk free play he watched Magnus Carlsen and Peter Svidler draw with each other in the penultimate game and then both lose in Saturday’s last round.
