Short recovers with two wins in Cuba

Nigel Short recovered from his Round 1 loss to Vassily Ivanchuk to record two wins and a move into 2nd place behind the Ukrainian star.
Nigel Short has recovered from his first round loss to Vasily Ivanchuk at the Capablanca Memorial in Havana and has scored two fine wins to move to 3/5. Short defeated Russian Evgeny Alexeev and Cuban Lazaro Bruzon. Ivanchuk always plays brilliantly in Latin America, he has 4/5.
